MIAMI – June 8, 2023 – Noticias Telemundo will present Inspirando a América, a television special on Saturday, June 10 at 5 p.m. ET. The one-hour special is part of the NBCUniversal News Group-wide franchise, “Inspiring America,” an annual television event set to air this weekend across NBCU networks and streaming platforms.

This year for the first time, Noticias Telemundo will host a special stand-alone Spanish-language edition recognizing individuals driving change and making a meaningful impact in the Hispanic community.

Inspirando a América: lista de inspiradores 2023 will air on Telemundo and stream on Noticias Telemundo’s digital platforms. Broadcasts in English of “Inspiring America: The 2023 Inspiration List” will air across other NBCU News Group television and streaming networks on June 10 and June 11, including NBCMSNBC and CNBC. It will also stream on NBC News NOW and be available on Peacock on demand.

Noticias Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro, along with Arantxa Loizaga and José Díaz-Balart, will co-host Inspirando a América highlighting Latino changemakers. This year’s outstanding group includes Eva Longoria, actress and director, María Teresa Kumar, president and CEO of Voto Latino, a nonprofit that mobilizes Hispanics to become politically engaged and Mónica Ramírez, founder and president of Justice for Migrant Women, an organization dedicated to ensuring and advancing the human and civil rights of migrant women and their families.

Other honorees include César Rangel, director of the Youth Enlightenment System (YES), an organization focused on supporting the development of children and young people in economically disadvantaged communities through music including orchestras and choirs; Claudia Serrato, a cultural and culinary anthropologist, indigenous plant-based chef and co-founder of Across Our Kitchen Tables, a culinary resource and network hub for women of color; Chef Ivan Clemente, founder of the Kennedy soup kitchen in Puerto Rico; Susie Jaramaillo, author, artist and CEO of the children’s entertainment company Encantos and José Manuel Domínguez, a performing artist and educator.

Now in its third year, “Inspiring America” has expanded into a franchise that spans television, streaming, audio, digital and events. Each month, Noticias Telemundo features a monthly on-air and digital segment spotlighting Latinos making a positive impact in their communities, from local heroes, community leaders, newsmakers to celebrities.

Segments about this year’s Inspirando a América honorees will appear on NoticiasTelemundo.com and Noticias Telemundo’s YouTube channel along with the digital and social channels of El Poder en Ti, Telemundo’s community impact platform.
