NBC News NOW Expands Daily Programming with the Debut of “Sky News Today with Wilfred Frost” on Monday, Nov. 13

Sky News’ International News Program to Simulcast on NBC News’ Free Streaming News Network

Nov. 10, 2023 – NBC News NOW will begin streaming Sky News Today with Wilfred Frost on Monday, Nov. 13, expanding its daily weekday lineup with an internationally-based news program.

Sky News Today with Wilfred Frost will simulcast on NBC News’ free streaming news network, NBC News NOW, at 5 a.m. ET on weekday mornings. The program features international breaking news, on-the-ground and in-depth reporting from Sky News’ award-winning correspondents and interviews with key newsmakers. Wilfred Frost is the anchor of Sky News Today, as well as a contributor for NBC News, CNBC and MSNBC.

NBC News NOW continues to be the fastest-growing streaming news network in the U.S., featuring more live original hours than any other streaming news network and offered at no cost to viewers. The addition of Sky News Today with Wilfred Frost – NBC News NOW’s first program originating from outside the U.S. – marks over 12-plus live weekday hours of hard news coverage.

In Q3 2023, NBC News NOW posted its 2nd most-watched quarter in history, as well as its seventh straight quarter of year-over-year growth. The network is pacing to have its best year on record in 2023, after achieving record viewership in 2022, up 50% year over year. On Wednesday evening, NBC News NOW marked its largest audience in primetime ever and highest peak audience on record for its coverage of the NBC News Republican Presidential Debate. The NBCU News Group, which encompasses NBC News NOW, marked its best quarter on record in Q3 and best month on record in October for its streaming networks, which also include TODAY All Day, Dateline 24/7, MSNBC on Peacock and CNBC on Peacock, and is pacing to have its best year yet.

NBC News NOW is widely distributed, available on Peacock, the Amazon Fire News App, Freevee, FuboTV, Google TV, Hulu Live, LG, Local Now, Plex, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Tubi, Xfinity X1, Xumo, YouTube, YouTube TV, NBCNews.com and NBC News’ apps on Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV, with additional national linear distribution on NBC and international linear distribution through Sky UK and Virgin Media.
