The campaign runs from Nov. 15 to Dec. 25, 2025, at 167 Safeway stores throughout the Bay Area, benefiting Bay Area Food Banks. It is a collaboration of six independent nonprofit food banks serving 13 Northern California counties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the Nourishing Neighbors campaign, Safeway and Andronico\u2019s customers can make a difference by donating $3, $5 or $10 at checkout or by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar. Every contribution helps provide meals for those in need and reminds us that lasting change begins with neighbors helping neighbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEvery year, Nourishing Neighbors reminds us of what\u2019s possible when our community comes together,\u201d said Stacy Owen, President and General Manager of NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48. \u201cBecause of the generosity of Safeway shoppers and our partners, families across the Bay Area have access to the food they need.
