Last year\u2019s telethon raised $3,196,855.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis year\u2019s 50th anniversary is a powerful reminder of Liga Contra el C\u00e1ncer\u2019s dedication to serving those who need it most,\u201d said Jorge Carballo, President and General Manager of Telemundo 51 and NBC6. \u201cTelemundo 51 is honored to have stood alongside the League for 27 years through this telethon, ensuring they have the resources to continue making a difference in people\u2019s lives.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The telethon will also feature musical performances by:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The telethon will be hosted live from the Miami-Dade County Fair &amp; Exposition Center by Telemundo 51\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Daisy Ballmaj\u00f3<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Alejandra Molina<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Fausto Malav\u00e9<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Marilys Llanos<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Mariana Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Alejandro Isturiz<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Silvana del Mar<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this year\u2019s event, Miami icon&nbsp;<strong>Willy Chirino<\/strong>&nbsp;will receive special recognition from&nbsp;<em>Liga Contra el C\u00e1ncer<\/em>&nbsp;and Telemundo 51 for his longstanding support of the League.
