(June 5, 2025)<\/strong> \u2013 NBCUniversal Local\u2019s Telemundo Station Group will join Telemundo in celebrating the \u201cOne Year to Go\u201d milestone to the start of the FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 on June 11 with the premiere of the original documentary Tras La Huella del F\u00fatbol<\/em><\/strong>, which will be presented on the 31 Telemundo-owned stations and Telemundo free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) regional news channels at 11:30 a.m. ET \/ 10:30 a.m. CT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The special highlights the extensive multiplatform content that will be provided across Telemundo Station Group\u2019s television, streaming and digital platforms covering the global event leading up to and through the tournament, which will be held in North America for the first time in more than 30 years, beginning June 11, 2026. Telemundo is the exclusive Spanish-language home of the FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
