 Grant Program Has Delivered $18.5 Million to 546 Nonprofits Since 2018<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW YORK<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 (March 11, 2025) \u2013 Comcast NBCUniversal\u202fand NBCUniversal Local today announced\u202fthe return of the NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants <\/strong>for the eighth consecutive year in 2025. This competitive grant challenge will award $2.5 million in unrestricted funds to eligible nonprofits\u202flocated in and servicing one of the 11\u202fNBC- and Telemundo-owned stations\u2019 markets across the United States in three categories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits can apply for NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants from today, March 11, through April 11 at localimpactgrants.com<\/a> and the Spanish-language site becasdeimpactolocal.com,<\/a> which also provide more information on the program. The grant categories include youth education and empowerment<\/strong>, next generation storytellers<\/strong>, and community engagement<\/strong>. Winners will be announced\u202flater this year.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2018, NBCUniversal\u2019s grant program has provided $18.5 million to 546 organizations — including the 76 nonprofits<\/a> last year that were awarded a combined $2.5 million — in the communities served by NBC- and Telemundo-owned stations, which are: New York<\/strong>, Los Angeles<\/strong>, Chicago<\/strong>, Philadelphia,<\/strong> Dallas-Fort Worth<\/strong>, Washington, D.C.<\/strong>, Boston<\/strong>, San Francisco<\/strong>, Miami<\/strong>, San Diego<\/strong> and Hartford, Conn.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
