Experienced Journalist Debuts on ‘Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas’ on March 30
LAS VEGAS – March 25, 2026 – Telemundo Las Vegas / KBLR, part of NBCUniversal Local’s Telemundo Station Group, announced today that Viviana Salinas has been named anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas on weekdays at 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Salinas will make her on-air debut on Monday, March 30.
Salinas has more than a decade of experience in Spanish-language media in the U.S. and Latin America, including more than two years in Las Vegas. Most recently, she served as news anchor at Univision Las Vegas, where she anchored morning and midday newscasts, delivered live reports and breaking news coverage, and contributed to digital content.
“Viviana is a proven journalist with strong live anchoring experience and a clear connection to the communities we serve,” said Johali Carmona, News Director for Telemundo Las Vegas. “Her versatility, newsroom experience and commitment to impactful storytelling make her a great addition to our anchor team, and we are excited to welcome her.”
Prior to Las Vegas, Salinas was news anchor and TV host at Vision Latina TV in Los Angeles, where led anchored Spanish-language morning newscasts and hosted the daily talk show Mañana Latina. She also worked as news anchor and reporter at Canal 63.1 in Los Angeles and as journalist and radio broadcaster at W Radio in Bogotá, Colombia.
Salinas holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and television production from Universidad Central in Bogotá, Colombia.
