MIRAMAR, FL – (Sept. 18, 2023) – The Telemundo Station Group, part of NBCUniversal Local – a division that includes 43 NBC/Telemundo stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico – is partnering with Telemundo Enterprises and Hispanic Federation to host a bilingual National Voter Registration Day phone bank tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.

The event will provide audiences across the U.S. and Puerto Rico the ability to ask questions to knowledgeable operators and access important voter registration information and resources in English and Spanish through Hispanic Federation’s hotline at 1-866-432-9832.This joint effort will prepare the Latino community for 2023 state-wide and local elections in cities across the nation using culturally and linguistically competent information.

The Telemundo-owned stations will highlight key voter registration storylines and promote the hotline across platforms to support the event and promote engagement leading into the 2024 election cycle. Telemundo Enterprises will also promote the bilingual phone bank with special segments on its newscasts, Noticias Telemundo Mediodia and Noticias Telemundo with Julio Vaqueiro at 6:30 p.m. ET, and across its award-winning corporate social responsibility platform, El Poder En Ti.
