Telemundo 48 Earns Prestigious Overall Excellence/News Excellence Emmy® Award for Fifth Consecutive Year
SAN JOSE, Calif. – Aug. 24, 2026 – NBC Bay Area / KNTV and Telemundo 48 Área de la Bahía / KSTS were honored with a combined six Northern California Emmy® Awards at the 55th San Francisco/Northern California Emmy® Awards ceremony, held Saturday, Aug. 22, at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento.
Telemundo 48 earned the prestigious Emmy® Award for Overall Excellence/News Excellence (Spanish) for the fifth consecutive year, continuing the station’s record of excellence in Spanish-language journalism and service to Bay Area communities.

NBC Bay Area received three Emmy® Awards, including two honors for journalist Jonathan Bloom. Telemundo 48 also received three Emmy® Awards, led by its fifth consecutive Overall Excellence/News Excellence (Spanish) honor.
