NBC Bay Area Wins Two Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards

SAN JOSE, Calif. (May 20, 2025) – NBC Bay Area/KNTV has been honored with two Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) announced. NBC Bay Area represents Region 2, which includes California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Guam.

Since 1971, the RTDNA has recognized excellence in electronic journalism through the Edward R. Murrow Awards, celebrating work that upholds the high standards set by Murrow for broadcast and digital journalism.

NBC Bay Area earned Regional Murrow Awards in the following categories:

All regional winners automatically advance to the national competition, which will be announced in August. National winners will be celebrated at the 2025 Edward R. Murrow Awards Gala, to be held Oct. 13, 2025, at Gotham Hall in New York City.
