Eddie Randle to Co-Anchor ‘NBC Connecticut Today’ on Weekdays; Taylor Kinzler to Lead Weekend Editions
Julia LeBlanc to Serve as Weekday Morning Reporter
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – (Feb. 12, 2025) – NBC Connecticut / WVIT announced Eddie Randle has been named co-anchor of NBC Connecticut Today, Taylor Kinzler has been promoted to anchor of the program’s weekend editions, and Julia LeBlanc is joining WVIT as weekday morning reporter.
A 15-year veteran of local news, Randle will join co-anchor Shannon Miller and veteran meteorologist Bob Maxon on the weekday morning newscasts, beginning March 3. He joins WVIT from KSN in Wichita, Kan., where he has been morning anchor for the NBC affiliate since 2022.
Before joining KSN, Randle spent five years as a reporter and anchor for Denver’s NBC affiliate, KUSA, and more than three years as a journalist for KOKI in Tulsa, Okla. He began his career with KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas, after graduating from Southern University and A&M College.
Kinzler, the longtime host of NBC Connecticut’s CT Live!, will join meteorologist Alexis Clemons on NBC Connecticut Today Saturday and Sunday beginning March 1. Since joining WVIT in 2018, she has covered local food, destinations, and entertainment for the Emmy-nominated lifestyle show.
Prior to NBC Connecticut, Taylor was a reporter and evening news anchor for WABI, the CBS affiliate in Bangor, Maine. A graduate of American University, she gained experience with NBC-owned station WRC and NBC Sports Washington after receiving a degree in broadcast journalism.
LeBlanc has joined NBC Connecticut as a weekday morning reporter, working alongside Jennifer Joas and Sydney Boyo, beginning Feb. 18. A Newtown, Conn. Native, she has spent nearly four years as a reporter for Hartford’s FOX station, WTIC, covering New Haven County.
Previously, LeBlanc covered local news as a multimedia journalist in Utica, N.Y., before moving to WSYR, the ABC station in Syracuse, N.Y., where she was an anchor and reporter for more than three years. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, she began her career as news intern for WVIT.

NBC Connecticut Today is presented weekdays from 5 to 7 a.m., on Saturdays from 5:30 to 7 a.m. and 8:30 to 10 a.m., and Sundays from 5:30 to 8 a.m. and 9 to 10 a.m.
