MTP also delivered its best third-quarter in the 25-54 demo since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing its strong momentum, MTP closed the total viewer gap by 84% with CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d (FTN) \u2013 which is only rated for 30 minutes of its broadcast \u2013 and won the demo over FTN in the first quarterly demo win since the Q4\u201912.<\/p>\n<p>MTP ended the quarter as #2 both in total viewers and the demo, topping both ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d and CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d half-hour, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>This past Sunday, Sept. 20, MTP beat FTN in the demo for the 15th consecutive broadcast and topped ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d in total viewers for the 9th consecutive week. Week-over-week, MTP closed the demo gap with ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d by 51%.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2014-2015 season, MTP closed the total viewer gap by 97% with ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d and closed the demo gap by 49% with CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d half-hour compared to the previous season.
