In Demo, MTP Marks 10th Consecutive Win over \u201cFace the Nation\u201d Half-Hour<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

AUGUST 20, 2015 \u2013 \u201cMeet the Press with Chuck Todd\u201d (MTP) was #1 across the board on August 16, delivering its biggest total viewer audience since February 9, 2014 and biggest A25-54 demo audience since March 1 of this year.\u00a0 The program featured a Sunday exclusive interview with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and an interview with Democratic candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders.<\/p>\n

MTP averaged 3.612 million total viewers, +739,000 more than ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d, +775,000 more than CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d half-hour, and +1.197 million more than CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d hour.\u00a0 This marks MTP\u2019s biggest total viewer win over the CBS half-hour since August 12, 2012 and best over ABC since February 22, 2015.<\/p>\n

With 1.005 million viewers in the A25-54 demo, MTP topped ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d by +232,000 viewers, CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d half-hour by +205,000 viewers, and CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d full-hour by +323,000 viewers. This marks MTP\u2019s biggest demo win over the CBS half-hour since June 28, 2015, and best over ABC since June 22, 2014.<\/p>\n

MTP\u2019s momentum scored double-digit gains across all key categories year-over-year: +36% in total viewers, +37% in A25-54, and +40% in A18-49.<\/p>\n

In the influential Washington, D.C. market, MTP continued its dominance with a three-digit advantage against the competition in total viewers.<\/p>\n

MTP delivered an additional 1.016 million total viewers and 439,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.<\/p>\n
