Also this Sunday, <em>Meet the Press <\/em>averaged<strong> 404,000 A25-54 viewers, leading ABC by +56,000 (+16%)<\/strong> and outperforming ABC for five of the last six weeks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In August, <em>Meet the Press<\/em> averaged <strong>372,000 key A25-54 demo viewers<\/strong>, <strong>leading ABC by +43,000 (+13%) and CBS by +104,000 (+39%).<\/strong> <em>Meet the Press <\/em>has outperformed ABC for 24 consecutive months and has led CBS\u2014which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast\u2014for seven of the last eight months, with the largest August lead vs. CBS in five years. Compared to last month, <em>Meet the Press<\/em> significantly <strong>improved its A25-54 lead vs. ABC <\/strong>(+43,000 vs. +2,000 prior month) and <strong>more than doubled its A25-54 lead vs. CBS<\/strong> (+104,000 vs. +48,000 prior month).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Meet the Press <\/em>was the <strong>only show to increase A18-49 viewership<\/strong> compared to last month, averaging <strong>253,000 A18-49 viewers<\/strong> in August,<strong> leading ABC by +5,000 (+2%) and CBS by +52,000 (+26%)<\/strong>. <em>Meet the Press <\/em>has outperformed ABC for three of the last four months. This is also <em>Meet the Press<\/em>\u2019 third consecutive month leading CBS, and compared to last month, <em>Meet the Press<\/em> <strong>improved its A18-49 lead vs. CBS by more than 6x<\/strong> (+52,000 vs. +8,000 prior month).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In August, <em>Meet the Press<\/em> averaged<strong> 2.466 million total viewers<\/strong>. <em>Meet the Press <\/em>was the <strong>only Sunday public affairs show to increase total viewership<\/strong> vs. last month and vs. last year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the <a href=\"https:\/\/nbcuniversalnewsgroup.com\/nbcnews\/2025\/09\/23\/meet-the-press-with-kristen-welkeris-1-in-key-demo-for-2024-25-broadcast-season\/\">2024-25 broadcast season<\/a><em>, Meet the Press <\/em>was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers and ranks #1 season-to-date for the 2025-26 season. <em>Meet the Press<\/em> has also never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">August\u2019s broadcasts featured conversations from NBC News\u2019 \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/specials\/finding-common-ground\/index.html\">Common Ground<\/a>\u201d town hall at the National Governors Association\u2019s summer meeting with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/meet-the-press\/video\/govs-wes-moore-kevin-stitt-on-dignity-in-politics-full-panel-267592261798\">Gov. Wes Moore (D-Md.) and Gov. Kevin Stitt (R-Okla.)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/meet-the-press\/video\/govs-jared-polis-spencer-cox-on-education-and-technology-full-panel-267595333869\">Gov.
