The NBC flagship newscast averages nearly a million viewers in the key demo (992,000) and 6.7 million total viewers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Nightly News\u00a0<\/em>overtook ABC\u2019s\u00a0<em>World News Tonight<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em>for three consecutive nights beginning Monday, with\u00a0<strong>Tuesday delivering the newscast\u2019s biggest daily demo win over ABC in four years<\/strong>, excluding the Paris 2024 Olympics.
