Chris Christie told NBC\u2019s Matt Lauer: \u201cI believe in myself and I believe in what I have to offer the American people and I believe that I have always been able to connect with real people.\u00a0 And I think if I do those three things over the course of the next 18 months, I&#8217;m going to be the next president of the United States.\u201d\u00a0 The New Jersey Republican also addressed the crowded GOP field: \u201cI think the biggest problem with so many people is getting attention, and I&#8217;ve never had any problem getting attention.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lauer spoke with Gov. How do you think you&#8217;ll stack up against those other 13 candidates?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>GOVERNOR CHRISTIE: I believe in myself and I believe in what I have to offer the American people and I believe that I have always been able to connect with real people.
