Time Period&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">September 30, 2025 \u2014&nbsp;<em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;is the #1 afternoon news program on broadcast television in the key demos for the 2024-2025 broadcast season, according to Nielsen Media Research.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;averaged&nbsp;<strong>237,000 A25-54 viewers<\/strong>, topping&nbsp;<em>GMA3<\/em>&nbsp;by +14,000 &#8211; growing its lead over ABC by&nbsp;<strong>more than 4 times compared to last season<\/strong>. In A18-49,&nbsp;<em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;beat&nbsp;<em>GMA3<\/em>&nbsp;by +10,000 and averaged&nbsp;<strong>171,000 viewers, increasing its lead ten-fold<\/strong>. Among total viewers,&nbsp;<em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;averaged&nbsp;<strong>1.170 million total viewers<\/strong>, closing the gap vs. ABC by 28% vs. the prior season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;<strong>also grew across the board vs. last season<\/strong>: +3,000 in A25-54, +6,000 in A18-49 and +2,000 in total viewers. This marks the&nbsp;<strong>second consecutive season<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;<strong>topping&nbsp;<em>GMA3<\/em>&nbsp;in the key demos, while also growing across the board.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally,&nbsp;<em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;continued to rank ahead of CNN every week during the 12-4 p.m. time period in both total viewers and A25-54.&nbsp;<strong><em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;more than doubled CNN\u2019s 12P-4P time slot viewership across-the-board<\/strong>: +149% in A25-54, +151% in A18-49, and +111% in total viewers.&nbsp;<strong><em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;also more than quadrupled MSNBC\u2019s 12P-4P viewership<\/strong>among A25-54 (+316%) and A18-49 (+375%) while doubling its total viewer average (+103%)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>NBC News Daily<\/em>&nbsp;reaches even more viewers on its NBC News NOW streaming platform.
