The interview will take place on Friday as President Trump marks 100 days in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Highlights from the interview will be released prior to <em>Meet the Press<\/em> on NBC News, NBC News NOW and NBCNews.com, all available on the NBC News app. The full video interview and transcript will publish on NBCNews.com this Sunday, May 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Welker last sat down with President Trump for an NBC News exclusive interview in December 2024 \u2013 his first interview since winning the election \u2013 and broke news on dozens of topics that previewed his first 100 days in office including on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/trump-details-sweeping-changes-ll-carry-day-one-exclusive-interview-rcna182858\">economy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/trump-aims-end-birthright-citizenship-says-american-citizens-family-il-rcna183274\">immigration<\/a>. Welker also had the only network sit-down interview with Trump during the 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Season-to-date, <em>Meet the Press with Kristen Welker <\/em>is the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key A25-54 demo and is the only program up versus the same point last season, according to Nielsen. The full Trump interview from December has garnered nearly 10 million views on YouTube, with clips reaching over 50 million views on TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Meet the Press<\/em> airs at 10:30 a.m. ET in New York and Washington, D.C. and is available on local NBC stations across the country.
