class=\"large-medium-txt black-color news-details-subheading\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"press-release-body\">\n<p>NEW YORK \u2013 September 5, 2014 \u2013 NBC\u2019s TODAY continues to gain momentum and post significant ratings growth.\u00a0 For the week of August 25, TODAY posted its biggest A25-54 audience in three months (since the week of 6\/2\/14).\u00a0 Versus the same week last year, TODAY cut GMA\u2019s total viewer lead by a whopping 33%.\u00a0\u00a0 TODAY also posted growth in total viewers and A18-49 week-to-week.<\/p>\n<p>Season-to-date, TODAY is posting the largest total viewer growth of the morning news shows gaining nearly 300k.\u00a0 TODAY ranks as the #1 morning news broadcast in A18-49 for the season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TODAY HIGHLIGHTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TODAY averaged 4.446 million total viewers, beating CBS This Morning by +56% (+1,592,000)\n<ul>\n<li>This was TODAY\u2019s best P2+ delivery and widest gap versus CBS since the week of 6\/9\/2014<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>TODAY averaged 1.705 million A25-54 viewers, +93% (+821,000) ahead of CBS\n<ul>\n<li>This represents TODAY\u2019s biggest A25-54 viewer audience since the week of 6\/2\/2014 and biggest win over CBS since the week of 6\/9\/2014<\/li>\n<li>TODAY delivered a 1.4 A25-54 rating, doubling CBS\u2019s delivery (+100%, or +7 tenths)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Among A18-49 viewers, TODAY was the #1 broadcast posting 1.384 million and topping GMA by +3% (+45,000) and CBS by +137% (+801,000)<\/li>\n<li>Compared to the same week last season, TODAY cut GMA\u2019s total viewer lead by 33%<\/li>\n<li>Week-to-week, TODAY posted growth in total viewers (+2%, or +87,000), rating W\/A18-49 (+8%\/+10%), and rating M25-54 (+11%)<\/li>\n<li>Versus the 3Q\u201914 average, TODAY posted the biggest growth in total viewers (+6%, or +245,000) while also increasing in rating W\/A18-49 (8%\/+10%) and rating W\/M\/A25-54 (+6%\/+11%\/+8%)\n<ul>\n<li>TODAY reduced GMA\u2019s total viewer lead by 10% versus 3Q levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Season-to-date, TODAY is posting the largest total viewer growth among the morning news broadcasts (+6%, or +276,000)\n<ul>\n<li>TODAY has also seen season-to-date gains in rating W\/A18-49 (+7%\/+9%), and rating W\/M25-54 (+5%\/+10%).\u00a0 Among A25-54 viewers, TODAY is up
