class=\"press-release-body\">\n<p>NEW YORK \u2013 September 25, 2014 \u2013 NBC\u2019s TODAY continues to gain momentum and post significant ratings growth.\u00a0 For the 2013\/2014 season, TODAY was the number-one morning program in all A18-49 ratings, marking its 22nd straight season placing first in that demo.\u00a0 TODAY closed the total viewer gap with GMA versus the 2012\/2013 season, posting the largest growth of the morning news shows season-to-season.\u00a0 TODAY also posted growth in A18-49 and W\/M25-54 versus last season.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, for Q3 2014 TODAY placed first in A18-49, marking its 81st straight quarter as the #1 morning show in that demo.\u00a0\u00a0 And for the week of September 15, TODAY cut GMA\u2019s total viewer gap with GMA by double digits, versus the same week last season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TODAY HIGHLIGHTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2013-14 Season<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TODAY finished the 2013-14 season with #1 finishes across all 18-49 demo ratings<\/li>\n<li>Season-to-season, TODAY posted the biggest growth among total viewers with a gain of +258,000 (+6%), reducing GMA\u2019s overall lead by 2%\n<ul>\n<li>Additionally, TODAY was up in rating W\/A18-49 (+7%\/+9%) and rating W\/M25-54 (+5%\/+10%) versus the 2012-13 season<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>TODAY averaged 4.868 million total viewers, beating CBS This Morning by +61%
