July 16, 2019\n\u2013 Meet the Press with Chuck\nTodd<\/em> (MTP) won this past Sunday, July 14 as the #1 most-watched\nSunday show across the board, according to Nielsen Media Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday\u2019s broadcast<\/a> featured exclusive\ninterviews with Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Ron Johnson, and Megan Rapinoe, and\naveraged 2.842 million total viewers. MTP topped ABC\u2019s This Week<\/em> by +13 percent\n(+326,000) and CBS\u2019 Face the\nNation<\/em> by six percent (+153,000). This marks the broadcast\u2019s 52nd\nstraight win over ABC in total viewers. Compared to last Sunday, MTP was up\nfive percent and compared to last year, MTP was up three percent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTP also won\nin the demo most valued by news advertisers, topping both ABC and CBS by\ndouble-digits. 698,000 A25-54 key demo viewers tuned in to the Sunday program:\n+23 percent (+130,000) more than ABC and +23 percent (+131,000) more than CBS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Season-to-date,\nMTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best\ntotal viewer lead over ABC in seven years and CBS in eight years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTP continues\nto dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its\ncompetition combined across the board and winning every Sunday with total\nviewers for more than four straight years (since March 22, 2015).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An additional\n904,000 total viewers and 181,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program\nthrough rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
