MARCH 5, 2019\n\u2013 Meet the Press with Chuck\nTodd<\/em> (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board\nthis past Sunday, March 3, according to Nielsen Media Research, marking the\nshow\u2019s fourth straight week at #1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday\u2019s\nbroadcast<\/a> featured interviews with Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Rep. Jim\nJordan (R-Ohio). 3.897 million total viewers tuned in on Sunday: +29 percent\n(+874,000) more than ABC\u2019s This\nWeek<\/em> and nine percent (+326,000) more than CBS\u2019 Face the Nation<\/em>. This marks\nthe broadcast\u2019s 37th straight win over ABC in total viewers and the 14th win\nover CBS out of the last 15 broadcasts. Compared to last year, MTP grew by +14\npercent (+482,000) and increased its total viewer lead over ABC by +70 percent\n(+361,000). Compared to last week, MTP was up by 10 percent (+367,000 total\nviewers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTP also won\nin the demo most valued by news advertisers for its 57th straight broadcast,\ntopping both ABC and CBS by double-digits. 980,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned\ninto the Sunday program: +39 percent (+275,000) more than ABC and +30 percent\n(+228,000) more than CBS. This is the broadcast\u2019s best streak in over 18 years\n(since October 15, 2000). Compared to last week, MTP had the largest A25-54\nviewer increase and was up by +21 percent (+173,000). Compared to the same\nSunday last year, MTP\u2019s A25-54 viewership was up by two percent (+22,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Season-to-date,\nMTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best\ntotal viewer lead over ABC in seven years and CBS in eight years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTP continues\nto dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its\ncompetition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers in\nalmost four years (since March 22, 2015).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An additional\n463,000 total viewers and 900,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program\nthrough rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
