Wins Sunday Across the\nBoard; #1 in Key Demo for 56th Straight Broadcast – Best Streak in Over 18\nYears<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEBRUARY 26,\n2019 \u2013 Meet the Press with\nChuck Todd<\/em> (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the\nboard for the February sweep, winning its fifth straight sweep, according to\nNielsen Media Research, the show\u2019s best streak in nearly seven years. This\nmarks the third consecutive year MTP has won the February sweep among total\nviewers and fourth consecutive year MTP has won the February sweep among A25-54\ndemo viewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An average of\n3.663 million total viewers tuned into the broadcast during the February sweep:\n+623,000 (+20 percent) more than ABC\u2019s This\nWeek<\/em> and +211,000 (six percent) more than CBS\u2019 Face the Nation<\/em>. An average\nof 913,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into MTP during the February sweep:\n+188,000 (+26 percent) more than ABC and +146,000 (+19 percent) more than CBS.\nFebruary marks MTP\u2019s 14th consecutive sweep win in the demo most valued by news\nadvertisers \u2013 the show\u2019s best streak in over nine years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTP was also\nthe most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, February 24,\nmarking the show\u2019s third straight week at #1 and its 13th win over CBS out of\nthe last 14 broadcasts. Sunday\u2019s\nbroadcast<\/a> featured exclusive joint interviews with Rep. Jim Himes and Gov.\nAsa Hutchinson, former Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal and former Deputy\nIndependent Counsel Solomon Wisenberg, and an interview with former Secretary\nof Homeland Security Jeh Johnson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.530 million\ntotal viewers tuned in to the Sunday program: +19 percent (+558,000) more than\nABC\u2019s This Week<\/em>\nand four percent (+137,000) more than CBS\u2019 Face\nthe Nation<\/em>. This marks the broadcast\u2019s 36th straight win over ABC\nin total viewers and the 13th win over CBS out of the last 14 broadcasts.\nCompared to last year, MTP increased its total viewer lead over ABC by +24\npercent (+110,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTP also won\nin the demo most valued by news advertisers for its 56th straight broadcast.\n807,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: eight percent\n(+57,000) more than ABC and +14 percent (+96,000) more than CBS. This is the\nbroadcast\u2019s best streak in over 18 years (since October 15, 2000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Season-to-date,\nMTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best\ntotal viewer lead over ABC in seven years and CBS in eight years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTP continues\nto dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its\ncompetition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers in\nalmost four straight years (since March 22, 2015).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An additional\n1.016 total viewers and 180,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program\nthrough rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
