The broadcast has won the A18-49 demo for seven consecutive months as well and grew month-over-month.<\/p>\n<p>9.0 million viewers tuned in to <em>Nightly News<\/em> for the month of January 2019, +2.2 million total viewers (+33%) more than <em>CBS Evening News<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This month, <em>NBC Nightly News<\/em> launched \u201cJustice for All,\u201d a new criminal justice series focusing on unjust sentencing and unreliable convictions, highlighting the stories of the wrongfully accused and the new ways of seeking justice. As part of the series, Holt spoke <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/nightly-news\/video\/extended-interview-matthew-charles-begins-life-as-a-free-man-1424531523781\">exclusively<\/a> with Matthew Charles, one of the first prisoners released under the new federal criminal justice reform law.
