Wins Key Demo for 12th Straight Month; Beats Competition by Double-Digits <\/strong><\/p>\n

Only Sunday Show to Grow in Total Viewers Year Over Year \u2013 Biggest September Total Viewership in 10 Years<\/strong><\/p>\n

OCTOBER 2, 2018 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd<\/em> (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board for the month of September, according to Nielsen Media Research data, marking its 10th straight month at #1 and its best streak in seven years (since September 2011).<\/p>\n

3.303 million total viewers tuned into MTP in September, +10 percent (+294,000) more than ABC\u2019s This Week<\/em> and +0.10 percent (+4,000) more than CBS\u2019 Face the Nation<\/em>. September marks the 16th straight month MTP has beaten ABC and the 10th straight month MTP has beaten CBS in total viewers. MTP was the only Sunday show to grow year over year, (+three percent, +108,000), posting its best September total viewer delivery in 10 years (since September 2008). Compared to last year, MTP improved its lead over ABC by +285,000 viewers and turned its loss to CBS into a win (+4,000 vs. -84,000 last year), posting its biggest September advantage over ABC in six years (since September 2012) and its first win over CBS in six years.<\/p>\n

MTP continues to dominate the demo most valued by news advertisers, winning its 12th consecutive month among A24-54 viewers. 824,000 key demo viewers tuned in in September, as MTP outperformed its competition by double-digits: +15 percent (+104,000) more than ABC and +19 percent (+129,000) more than CBS. September is the 12th straight month MTP has beaten ABC and the 32nd straight month MTP has beaten CBS in the key demo. Compared to last year, MTP turned its loss to ABC into a win (+104,000 vs. -6,000 last year), posting its biggest September lead over ABC in seven years (since September 2011).<\/p>\n

This past Sunday, September 30, MTP was pre-empted for coverage of the 2018 Ryder Cup.<\/p>\n
