Only Sunday Show to Deliver More Than One Million A25-54 Viewers, Beating Competition by Double-Digits<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Grows by Double-Digits Week Over Week Across the Board<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

FEBRUARY 6, 2018 \u2013 \u201cMeet the Press with Chuck Todd\u201d (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, February 4, according to Nielsen Media Research data, marking its second consecutive broadcast at #1.<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s broadcast<\/a> featured exclusive interviews with former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus who said he \u201cnever felt that the president was going to fire\u201d Mueller, former CIA Director John Brennan who made his debut as an NBC News senior national security and intelligence analyst as well as host of HBO\u2019s \u201cReal Sports,\u201d Bryant Gumbel.<\/p>\n

4.120 million total viewers tuned into MTP, +41 percent (+1.198 million) more than ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d and five percent (+195,000) more than CBS\u2019 \u201cFace the Nation.\u201d This marks MTP\u2019s 43rd straight win over ABC and second straight win over CBS. Compared to last year, MTP improved its advantage over ABC by +29 percent (+270,000). Compared to last Sunday, MTP was up +16 percent (+572,000) and its advantage over ABC was four-times higher (+921,000).<\/p>\n

MTP also won in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its ninth straight broadcast, topping both ABC and CBS by double-digits. MTP was the only Sunday public affairs program to deliver more than one million demo viewers. 1.197 million A25-54 viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +52 percent (+408,000) more than ABC and +40 percent (+340,000) more than CBS. This was MTP\u2019s biggest demo audience in 45 weeks (since 3\/26\/2017). Compared to last Sunday, MTP was up +20 percent (+198,000), increased its lead over CBS by six percent (+19,000), and its advantage over ABC was five-times higher (+333,000). Compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP improved its advantage over ABC by nine percent (+35,000) and CBS by five percent (+15,000).<\/p>\n

Season-to-date, MTP continues as the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo, beating competition by double-digits: ABC by +16 percent (+133,000) and CBS by +23 percent (+182,000). Just two percent of total viewers separate MTP from CBS, which only rates for the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast.<\/p>\n

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers since March 22, 2015.<\/p>\n

An additional 407,000 total viewers and 91,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on MSNBC.<\/p>\n
