NEW YORK \u2013 October 27, 2017 – – In an NBC News exclusive, Savannah Guthrie sits down with Selena Gomez and her kidney donor, best friend, Francia Ra\u00edsa in their first television interview since the transplant. \u00a0Gomez told Guthrie that Ra\u00edsa saved her life saying, \u201cI guess I got to the point where it was — it was really kind of life or death.\u201d<\/p>\n

The interview will air in two parts, Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 on TODAY. \u00a0More of the interview will air Monday night on “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt” and across NBC News Digital platforms.<\/p>\n
