Beats ABC by Biggest Margin in Total Viewers Since May<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

OCTOBER 3, 2017 \u2013 \u201cMeet the Press with Chuck Todd\u201d (MTP) kicked off the 2017-2018 season as the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo this past Sunday, Oct. 1, according to Nielsen Media Research data.<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s broadcast<\/a> featured an interview with Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, as well as exclusive interviews with Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and Ta-Nehisi Coates, author of \u201cWe Were Eight Years in Power.\u201d<\/p>\n

MTP, which won the 2016-2017 season as the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, continued its reign in the demo most valued news advertisers and won its eleventh straight broadcast among A25-54 viewers. 976,000 demo viewers tuned into Sunday\u2019s program: +22 percent (+178,000) more than ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d and +12 percent more than CBS\u2019 \u201cFace the Nation\u201d (+105,000). MTP grew its demo advantage over ABC by +50 percent (+59,000) week over week.<\/p>\n

3.381 million viewers tuned into MTP, +17 percent (+501,000) more than ABC. This was MTP\u2019s biggest total viewer win over ABC since May 14 of this year.<\/p>\n

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday in total viewers since March 2015.<\/p>\n

An additional 1.396 million total viewers and 285,000 A25-54 viewers tuned into MTP this past Sunday through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.<\/p>\n
