JUNE 4, 2017 — Former Secretary of State John Kerry<\/strong> exclusively told \u201cMeet the Press\u201d moderator Chuck Todd that President Trump finding a better deal than the Paris climate accord is \u201clike O.J. Simpson saying he’s going to go out and find the real killer.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the London terror attacks, Kerry said that Britain has \u201chad a longstanding problem with respect to greater levels of alienation, a harder time assimilating into the broader British society, a lack of similar opportunity \u2026 I’m going to leave it to her [Prime Minister Theresa May] and to them to sort that out, particularly five days before an election. \u201c<\/p>\n

He added: The \u201ctravel ban will be cannon fodder to the recruiters. It’s the worst thing we could do. But we do need to do and we do extraordinary screening.\u201d Watch the full interview. <\/a><\/p>\n

E.P.A. Administrator Scott Pruitt <\/strong>also joined this morning\u2019s broadcast, telling Todd that \u201cthe rest of the world applauded\u201d the Paris climate accord \u201cbecause it put us at an economic disadvantage.\u201d The decision of the United States to withdraw from the agreement \u201cwas not a political decision,\u201d he added. Former Vice President Al Gore<\/strong> addressed the White House\u2019s economic defense for withdrawing from the climate deal : \u201cThe loss of jobs in the coal industry started with the mechanization of the coal industry.
