FEB. 26, 2017 — Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.)<\/strong> exclusively joined \u201cMeet the Press\u201d this morning and disagreed with the call from Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) for a special prosecutor <\/a>to investigate Russian interference in the election: \u201cThere’s no allegations of any crime occurring \u2026 If we get down that road, that’s a decision that Attorney General Sessions can make at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere’s no credible evidence of these contacts beyond anonymous sources in the media,\u201d added Cotton.<\/p>\n

The senator also reinforced the party\u2019s promise to repeal the Affordable Care Act<\/a> – not repair it: \u201cRepublicans won big victories because we promised to repeal Obamacare and to fix our healthcare system once and for all \u2026 It would not be keeping faith with the American people if we did not keep our word from those last elections.\u201d Watch the full interview.<\/a><\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with moderator Chuck Todd, Gov. John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.)<\/strong> said he doesn\u2019t think it\u2019s a clear-cut case<\/a> for the federal government to shut down recreational marijuana businesses: \u201cOur voters passed it 55-45. It’s in our constitution \u2026 It’s a sovereignty. The states have a sovereignty.\u201d<\/p>\n
