JANUARY 13, 2017 — NBC News and MSNBC together will deliver wall-to-wall coverage of President-elect Donald Trump\u2019s inauguration on January 20th, anchored live from Washington, D.C. and NBC News world headquarters in New York, with anchors and correspondents reporting from Capitol Hill, the parade route, the National Mall, the White House, across the country, and around the world.<\/p>\n
Inauguration coverage on the NBC broadcast network begins at 7 a.m. ET as Matt<\/strong> Lauer<\/strong> co-hosts \u201cTODAY<\/strong>\u201d live from Washington, D.C. on Friday morning, with Al<\/strong> Roker<\/strong>, \u201cMeet<\/strong> the<\/strong> Press<\/strong>\u201d moderator and NBC News political director Chuck<\/strong> Todd<\/strong> and NBC News analyst Nicolle<\/strong> Wallace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Beginning at 10 a.m. ET, \u201cNBC<\/strong> Nightly<\/strong> News<\/strong>\u201d anchor Lester<\/strong> Holt<\/strong> leads coverage from Capitol Hill, joined by NBC News special correspondent Tom<\/strong> Brokaw<\/strong>, Todd<\/strong> and Wallace<\/strong>. NBC News analysts Ben<\/strong> Ginsberg<\/strong> and Hugh<\/strong> Hewitt<\/strong> and NBC News presidential historian Michael<\/strong> Beschloss<\/strong> will also join the network\u2019s coverage.<\/p>\n \u201cNBC Nightly News with Lester Holt<\/strong>\u201d originates live from Washington, D.C. both Thursday and Friday, with an expanded one-hour broadcast on Inauguration Day.<\/p>\n On MSNBC, coverage kicks off with a special four-hour edition of \u201cMorning<\/strong> Joe<\/strong>\u201d live from The Dubliner pub in Washington, D.C. from 6 – 10 a.m. ET.<\/p>\n Rachel Maddow<\/strong>, Brian Williams<\/strong>, and Chris Matthews<\/strong> lead MSNBC\u2019s all-day coverage beginning at 10 a.m. ET, anchored from MSNBC World Headquarters in New York, with live reports from MSNBC and NBC News correspondents on the ground in Washington and beyond.<\/p>\n Prime time coverage and analysis continues on MSNBC throughout the night as the Trumps and other dignitaries attend inaugural balls.<\/p>\n MSNBC will anchor live from Washington D.C leading up to Inauguration Day. Throughout the week, MSNBC will air all-new series that go behind the scenes of preparations for the inauguration and look ahead at what\u2019s to come from the Trump administration.<\/p>\n NBC News and MSNBC journalists contributing to inauguration coverage include:<\/p>\n Special coverage will stream live on NBCNews.com beginning at 10 a.m. ET. Citizens profiled from across the country and the political spectrum will tell the incoming president the issues on their mind and share pieces of advice as he begins his term. This will be paired with a social media campaign which asks readers to share letters to the president as either a photo of an actual written message or as a video submission with the hashtag #DearMrPresident.
