Clark will seek to overturn the murder conviction for featured New York State inmate Richard Rosario,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/dateline\/20-years-13-alibis-later-bronx-da-agrees-vacate-richard-n542976\">Dateline\/NBCNews.com reports<\/a>. \u201cConviction\u201d was reported and filmed over a two-year period and delves into the case of Richard Rosario, convicted of a 1996 murder. Rosario, who has served 20 years of a 25-years-to-life-sentence, maintains his innocence. He insists that 13 alibi witnesses can verify he was in Florida when the crime was committed in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Over this two-year period, Dateline interviewed most of Rosario\u2019s alibi witnesses.\u00a0 This morning, the Bronx DA&#8217;s office confirmed it sent investigators last week to interview the witnesses and Clark intends to ask a judge to throw out Rosario\u2019s conviction and release him as soon as possible.\u00a0 Until now, the prosecution has stood by the conviction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The first four episodes of \u201cConviction\u201d are available here:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/pages\/conviction\">http:\/\/www.datelinenbc.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The entire series will be available to stream on\u00a0\u202aNBCNews.com\u00a0\u202abeginning Thursday, March 24.\u00a0Viewers are invited to join the conversation on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @DatelineNBC using #Dateline and on Snapchat at dateline.nbc.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConviction\u201d is produced and reported by Dateline\u2019s Dan Slepian and edited by Rob Allen.
