Chuck Todd and Rachel Maddow Moderate Live from 9-11 p.m. ET at the University of New Hampshire in Durham<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

FEBRUARY 3, 2016 — Former Secretary of State <\/span>Hillary Clinton <\/b>and Senator <\/span>Bernie Sanders<\/b> of Vermont are confirmed to debate one-on-one for the first time in the<\/span> MSNBC Democratic Candidates Debate <\/b>on<\/span> Thursday, February 4<\/b>, just five days before Granite State voters go to the polls. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The DNC-sanctioned event upholds the longstanding tradition of a post-Iowa debate in New Hampshire and will be the presidential candidates\u2019 only face-to-face meeting following the Iowa caucuses and before the first-in-the-nation primary. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chuck Todd<\/b>, moderator of NBC\u2019s \u201cMeet the Press\u201d and host of MSNBC\u2019s \u201cMTP Daily,\u201d and<\/span> Rachel Maddow<\/b>, host of MSNBC\u2019s \u201cThe Rachel Maddow Show,\u201d will moderate the debate live from <\/span>9-11 p.m. ET<\/b> at the <\/span>University of New Hampshire in Durham<\/b>. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The debate will air live on MSNBC and stream live online at MSNBC.com and NBCNews.com. \u00a0\u00a0Follow @MSNBC on social media and join the conversation online with the hashtag #DemDebate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Debate night coverage kicks off at 7 p.m. ET with a special edition of \u201cHardball with Chris Matthews\u201d followed by an 8 p.m. ET pre-show anchored by Brian Williams. \u00a0Matthews will anchor post-debate coverage and analysis beginning at 11 p.m. ET live from the spin room. <\/span><\/p>\n
