{"id":1033,"date":"2015-11-05T11:17:42","date_gmt":"2015-11-05T16:17:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/press.nbcnews.com\/?p=1033"},"modified":"2015-11-05T11:17:42","modified_gmt":"2015-11-05T16:17:42","slug":"today-wins-9-weeks-straight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nbcuniversalnewsgroup.com\/nbcnews\/2015\/11\/05\/today-wins-9-weeks-straight\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018TODAY\u2019 WINS 9 WEEKS STRAIGHT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TODAY Posts Its Longest Winning Streak in More Than 3 Years, Topping GMA for 9 Straight Weeks in the Key Demo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Season to Date, TODAY is the #1 Morning Show in Both A25-54 and A18-49, a First in 4 Years<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>TODAY Has Cut the Total Viewer Gap with GMA in Half Vs.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>the Same Period Last Year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>GMA Is the Only Morning Show Down Double Digits In Both the Key Demo and Total Viewers for the Season <em>and<\/em> Versus the Same Week Last Year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NEW YORK \u2013 November 5, 2015 \u2013 TODAY was once again the number-one morning show in the key demo A25-54 last week.\u00a0 TODAY\u2019s win marks nine straight weeks in first place beating Good Morning America in the key demo for sixteen weeks this year.\u00a0TODAY is also the number-one morning show in A25-54 and A18-49 for the 2015 season, a first since September\/October 2011.<\/p>\n<p>For the week of October 26, TODAY topped GMA by 76k, and brought its 2015 total of daily demo wins to 81.\u00a0 The win marks the first time TODAY has won nine straight weeks in the key demo since May-July 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Season to date, TODAY has radically cut its total viewer gap with GMA by 48% (a whopping 380k) versus the same period last year.\u00a0 GMA is the only morning show down double digits, suffering a 19% loss in the key demo and an 11% loss in total viewers, season to date.\u00a0 GMA is also down 17% in the key demo and 10% in total viewers versus the same week last year.
