NEW YORK \u2013\u00a0October 27, 2015\u00a0– Ready, set, Rokerthon. NBC’s TODAY is bringing back the history-making event and hitting the road for\u00a0“Rokerthon 2,\u00a0Taking America By Storm.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year, in the first-ever Rotherthon, TODAY’s Al Roker broadcast a record-breaking 34 straight hours of weather coverage.\u00a0This year, he will attempt The\u00a0Guinness World Records Title for the Fastest Time to Report a Weather Forecast from All 50 US States and the District of Columbia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rokerthon 2 will kick off in Hawaii\u00a0Friday, November 6\u00a0live on TODAY. \u00a0Roker will then travel by planes, trains and automobiles\u00a0broadcasting the weather from cities and towns\u00a0across the country for a week. \u00a0On Friday, November 13, Roker will end his tour live on Rockefeller Plaza.\u00a0\u00a0For a preview of Rokerthon 2 visit:\u00a0http:\/\/on.today.com\/1H6Dclv<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rokerthon 2 will support Feeding America this holiday season. Viewers can log onto\u00a0today.com\/Rokerthon<\/a>\u00a0to help TODAY with its mission of\u00a0“Feeding America By Storm.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout Rokerthon 2, Roker\u2019s weather reports will air across additional NBC platforms including NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, MSNBC, The Weather Channel, NBC\u2019s local affiliate newscasts, and other programming. Rokerthon 2 will also livestream on\u00a0today.com\/Rokerthon<\/a>\u00a0during portions of the day.\u00a0Viewers can submit questions and request their hometown forecasts by tweeting\u00a0@alroker<\/a>\u00a0using #Rokerthon.
