Ranks #1 in the Key A25-54 Demo Season-to-Date
January 14, 2026 – Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was ranked the #1 Sunday public affairs show for A25-54 key demo viewers this past Sunday, January 11, according to Nielsen.
Meet the Press averaged 416,000 key A25-54 demo viewers this past Sunday, leading ABC by +62,000 (+17%) and CBS by +19,000 (+5%). This marks Meet the Press’s seventh consecutive demo win over ABC. Compared to the prior year, Meet the Press improved its A25-54 lead vs. ABC by 38% (+62,000 vs. +45,000 prior year) and turned its A25-54 gap into a lead vs. CBS (+19,000 vs. -137,000 prior year).
Meet the Press averaged 2.694 million total viewers this past Sunday and has reduced its total viewer gap with ABC by 50% season-to-date. Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Border Czar Tom Homan and Mayor Jacob Frey (D-Minneapolis) as well as an exclusive interview with Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.).
