Ranked #1 in the A25-54 and A18-49 Demos for September
September 30, 2025 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among both A25-54 and A18-49 demo viewers in September according to Nielsen.
Meet the Press averaged 410,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +87,000 (+27%) and CBS by +4,000 (+1%). In addition, Meet the Press averaged 272,000 A18-49 demo viewers, leading ABC by +58,000 (+27%) and CBS by +5,000 (+2%). Compared to August, Meet the Press improved its A18-49 and total viewer competitive positions vs. ABC and improved its competitive positions across-the-board vs. CBS, which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast.
Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season and has won the key demo for three of the past five months.
Meet the Press averaged 2.210 million total viewers in September. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
September’s broadcasts featured interviews with Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D.N.Y.), Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.), Gov. Spencer Cox (R-Utah) and more. It also featured a “Meet the Moment” conversation with Mel Robbins.
