NEW YORK – June 25, 2015 – NBC’s TODAY continues to gain momentum, tightening the ratings race and posting consistent wins. For the week of June 15, TODAY was the number-one morning show Thursday, topping GMA by a whopping 199k in the key demo A25-54. This marks TODAY’s biggest single-day A25-54 win since May 22. Thursday was also TODAY’s biggest A18-49 win since June 2, topping GMA by a massive 261k. For the week, TODAY came within just 97k key demo viewers.
TODAY narrowed the key demo gap with GMA by 42k (30%) versus the same week last year. TODAY also gained in total viewers (+73k) and A25-54 viewers (+35k) year to year.
TODAY has posted four weekly demo wins and a daily total viewer win this year. TODAY remains the number-one morning news program in A18-49 for the season and year.
TODAY HIGHLIGHTS:

TODAY averaged 4.388 million total viewers, +29% (+982,000) more than CBS This Morning
TODAY averaged 1.661 million A25-54 viewers, +72% (+695,000) higher than CBS
- TODAY came within just 97,000 A25-54 viewers for the week.
On Thursday morning, TODAY topped GMA by 199,000 A25-54 viewers and 261,000 A18-49 viewers
- This was TODAY’s biggest single-day A25-54 win since 5/22/2015 (best in A18-49 since 6/2/2015)
TODAY posted gains versus the same week last season in total viewers (+73,000) and A25-54 viewers (+35,000)
- The A25-54 viewer margin between TODAY and GMA was 30% closer year-to-year (-97,000 last week vs. -139,000 year ago)
Week-to-week, TODAY’s deliveries were up in total viewers (+7,000), A18-49 viewers (+45,000), and A25-54 viewers (+26,000)

TODAY.COM HIGHLIGHTS:
For the 12th straight month, Today.com reached more consumers than GMA on Yahoo. Almost 30 million unique visitors turned to Today.com in May for exclusive interviews and the latest lifestyle, parenting and entertainment news, according to recent data from comScore. For 20 consecutive months (27 out of the last 28), Today.com has reached more mobile consumers than GMA on Yahoo.
Additionally, Today.com’s mobile unique visitors have grown +92% over the last 12 months while GMA on Yahoo has declined -20% for the same period. As such, Today.com has gone from parity in mobile unique visitors in September 2013 to nearly 3x GMA on Yahoo’s mobile visitor number in May 2015.
