“MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD” POSTS DOUBLE-DIGIT GAINS YEAR-TO-YEAR

NBC’s “Meet the Press” Tops ABC’s “This Week” in Total Viewers for First Time Since April

JUNE 18, 2015 – “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) posted double-digit gains year-to-year in both total viewers (+15%) and the A25-54 news demo (+30%), according to Nielsen Media Research Live+ Same Day data.

MTP averaged 2.498 million total viewers and 777,000 viewers A25-54 for Sunday, June 14, ranking as the #2 public affairs show and beating ABC’s “This Week” by +29,000 total viewers. MTP also posted the smallest gap in A25-54 demo with “This Week” since May 17, coming within just 100,000 viewers.

CBS’ “Face the Nation” (FTN) continues to claim ratings based on a 30-minute average; compared to the full FTN hour, MTP led FTN by +243,000 total viewers and +224,000 viewers A25-54.

MTP continues to dominate as #1 in the influential Washington, D.C. market, winning all eight Sundays it has aired this quarter in total viewers.

MTP drew an additional 960,000 total viewers and 342,000 A25-54 demo viewers with rebroadcasts on the network and MSNBC.
