June 21, 2024 — NBC News, NBC News NOW and NBCNews.com will feature comprehensive “Decision 2024” coverage next week as President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump prepare to debate in Atlanta Thursday evening.
NBC News’ marquee anchors will lead coverage across broadcast and streaming on Thursday, with NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt and TODAY co-anchor Savannah Guthrie anchoring analysis immediately following NBC News and NBC News NOW’s broadcast of the First Presidential Debate Hosted by CNN at 9 p.m.
Top Story anchor Tom Llamas will kick off debate preview coverage from the spin room in Atlanta at 7 p.m. on NBC News NOW, joined by Meet the Press moderator Kristen Welker and Weekend Nightly News anchor Hallie Jackson. All three will pick up post-debate special coverage at 11 p.m., taking streaming coverage late into the evening.
NBCNews.com will feature up-to-the-minute original reporting throughout the week, with a comprehensive live blog on Thursday featuring live updates and unique insight from the entire team of correspondents, reporters, producers, and embeds covering the 2024 campaign for NBC News Politics.
