NEW YORK – April 2, 2015 – NBC’s TODAY continues to gain momentum, tightening the ratings race and posting daily wins. For the week of March 23, TODAY was the number-one morning show Thursday, topping GMA by a giant 154k in the key demo A25-54. This marked TODAY’s biggest key demo daily win since September 5, 2014. TODAY also posted growth in total viewers week to week.
For the first quarter 2015, TODAY posted 13 daily demo wins and a total viewer win. TODAY was the #1 morning news program in A18-49 for the 1Q’15 marking its 9th consecutive quarter (82 of the last 83 quarters) in first place. TODAY also remains in first place in A18-49 for the season.

- TODAY beat GMA by +154,000 A25-54 viewers, its biggest single-day demo victory since September 5, 2014
- TODAY averaged 4.677 million total viewers, +43% (+1.402 million) better than CBS
- TODAY averaged 1.779 million A25-54 viewers, leading CBS by +81% (+794,000)
- TODAY was #1 for the week with 1.325 million A18-49 viewers, leading GMA by +4,000 and CBS by +601,000 (+83%)
- TODAY saw a +18,000 total viewer improvement week-to-week
- Season-to-date, TODAY is the #1 morning news program among A18-49 viewers (1.469 million average per week)

- TODAY averaged 4.959 million total viewers during 1Q’15, +44% (1.525 million) more than CBS This Morning
- Among A25-54 viewers, TODAY averaged 1.920 million viewers and led CBS by +79% (+846,000)
- TODAY finished first among A18-49 viewers with 1.452 million viewers, +1% (+21,000) more than GMA and +94% (+704,000) more than CBS
- TODAY has been #1 among A18-49 viewers for 9 consecutive quarters and 82 of the last 83 quarters

For the 9th straight month, Today.com reached more consumers than Goodmorningamerica.com on Yahoo. Over 27 million unique visitors turned to Today.com in February for exclusive interviews and the latest lifestyle, parenting and entertainment news, according to recent data from comScore. For 17 consecutive months (24 out of the last 25), Today.com has reached more mobile consumers than Goodmorningamerica.com on Yahoo.
Additionally, Today.com’s mobile unique visitors have grown +91% over the last 12 months while Goodmorningamerica.com on Yahoo is +8% for the same period. As such, Today.com has gone from parity in mobile unique visitors in September 2013 to nearly 3x Goodmorningamerica.com on Yahoo’s mobile visitor number in February 2015.
