NEW YORK – March 12, 2024 – NBC News’ TODAY was the number-one morning show last week, topping ABC’s “Good Morning America” in the key demo A25-54. TODAY marked its 30th consecutive weekly demo win, its longest streak since December 2020. TODAY also posted its longest unbroken daily demo streak start to the year since 2012.
Additionally, TODAY topped GMA in total viewers last Thursday, marking its 10th across-the-board victory of 2024. Versus the prior year, TODAY improved its competitive position with GMA in the key demo and total viewers for the 15th consecutive week.
Season to date, TODAY is the top-rated morning show in the key demo, more than seven times higher than the prior season. TODAY marked its best key demo start to a season versus GMA in five years.
