March 7, 2023 –Dateline NBC correspondent Keith Morrison will host The Girl in the Blue Mustang, a new true-crime podcast available Tuesday, March 14. In the six-episode series, Morrison reports on new details and latest developments in the investigation into the murder of California college student Michelle O’Keefe, including how a Dateline viewer changed the course of the case.

The first two episodes of The Girl in the Blue Mustang will be available for download and streaming on any podcast platform on March 14, with the following four episodes debuting over the next four weeks. The Girl in the Blue Mustang marks Morrison’s seventh Dateline podcast, after previously hosting the chart-topping series Murder & Magnolias, The Seduction, The Thing about Pam, The Thing About Helen & Olga, Mommy Doomsday, and Killer Role.
Ahead of the debut of The Girl in the Blue Mustang, Morrison will join Dateline correspondent Josh Mankiewicz, executive producer Liz Cole and senior executive producer David Corvo for the SXSW 2023 featured session, Dateline 24/7: How the True Crime Powerhouse Became a Podcast Empire, on Saturday, March 11. Moderated by Dateline fan and Grace & Frankie star June Diane Raphael, the panel will discuss how Dateline is reaching a new generation of fans with its signature storytelling.
