NEW YORK – July 27, 2021 – NBC News’ TODAY was the number-one morning show in the key demo for the month of July, topping ABC’s “Good Morning America” for 71 straight months. The win marks 303 out of 308 weeks in first place. TODAY also won in total viewers last Monday.
TODAY posted the most growth of the morning shows in A25-54 and A18-49 last week and was the only morning program to grow in total viewers. Additionally, TODAY All Day, the morning show’s streaming channel, had its strongest week ever with 116,000 hours viewed.
