October 5, 2020 – Grab your sneakers and your oven mitts! TODAY will begin hosting daily fitness (October 5-9) and cooking classes (October 12-16), exclusively on TODAY All Day, the morning show’s new streaming channel on TODAY.com and Peacock.
All week October 5 through October 9, TODAY All Day will host “Get Moving With…” fitness classes aimed at feeling energized and having fun. Viewers can tune in at 11am ET each day and again at 7pm ET to dance, stretch and move their way through a thirty-minute exercise class with some of the country’s most popular and exciting trainers.
“Get Moving With…” instructors will include Isaac Boots (celebrity fitness trainer, choreographer and Broadway dancer), Ashley Everett (Beyoncé’s dance captain and founder of FitChoreo), Erin Opera (celebrity fitness trainer and veteran), and Jessamyn Stanley (Founder, The Underbelly Yoga). In addition, US Olympians Ashleigh Johnson (gold medalist for US women’s water polo team), Meghan Musnicki (gold medalist for US Women’s Rowing) and Adam Rippon (Bronze medalist in figure skating) will share tips for working out legs, arms and abs.
Then, during the week of October 12, TODAY All Day will host “Get Cooking With…” cooking classes and will allow viewers to sign up for shopping list emails delivered to their inbox in advance of the class. Viewers can tune in at 5pm ET each day and again at 9pm ET to cook alongside the chef and hear some of their favorite tips and tricks in the kitchen.
“Get Cooking With…” chefs will include chef Nyesha Arrington (Bravo’s Top Chef), Jessie James Decker (singer/songwriter, reality TV personality and cookbook author), chef Aarón Sánchez (Food Network’s Chopped and philanthropist) and chef Geoffrey Zakarian (celebrity chef and restauranteur) with his daughters Anna and Madeleine (cookbook authors), along with TODAY’s Al Roker.
In a time when the pandemic is making it difficult to take classes in-person, head to the gym or get together with friends for a meal, these classes offer a way for viewers to stay healthy and are a fun activity for friends and family to enjoy together virtually.
These exclusive, classes on TODAY All Day follow the success of additional special programming on the streaming service, including Rokerthon, Coronavirus and the Classroom town hall, the travel series Incredible World and more.
Be sure to tune in to TODAY All Day fitness classes at 11am ET this week and TODAY All Day cooking classes at 5pm ET the week of October 12. The classes stream exclusively on TODAY All Day, available on TODAY.com/allday and Peacock.
