Tops ABC’S 20/20 in P2+, A25-54 & A18-49
Grows In All Key Measurements Vs. Previous Quarter
July 2, 2019 – Dateline NBC is the #1 Friday newsmagazine during the 2nd quarter, beating ABC’s 20/20 across the board in all key measurements, including total viewers, A25-54 and A18-49. This marks the third consecutive second quarter win.
Dateline averages 3.58 million total viewers, topping ABC by +357,000 (+11%). Among the key A25-54 news demo, Dateline averages 1.002 million viewers, topping 20/20 by +29,000 (+3%).
The broadcast also notches 728,000 viewers in A18-49, leading 20/20 by +53,000 (+8%). Additionally, Dateline posts across-the-board growth versus the prior quarter, while 20/20 loses viewers across the board since the first quarter.
Q2 Highlights:
