#1 in Key Demo for 41st Straight Broadcast – Best Streak in Over 18 Years

#1 Most-Watched Sunday Show Across the Board Season-to-date
NOVEMBER 13, 2018 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, November 11, according to Nielsen Media Research data, marking its fourth straight week at #1.
Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Rep. Adam Schiff and Sen. Cory Gardner. Newly-elected Congresswomen Lauren Underwood and Elissa Slotkin also joined the broadcast in an exclusive joint interview.
3.389 million total viewers tuned in to the Sunday program: +13 percent (+379,000) more than ABC and eight percent (+245,000) more than CBS. This marks the broadcast’s 23rd straight win over ABC and fourth straight win over CBS in total viewers. Compared to last week, MTP was up one percent (+45,000), marking a three-week high in total viewership (since October 21, 2018). Compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP was up two percent (+67,000) and turned its loss to CBS into a win (+245,000 vs. -307,000 last year).
MTP also won in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its 41st straight broadcast, topping ABC and CBS by double-digits. 896,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +24 percent (+174,000) more than ABC and +25 percent (+178,000) more than CBS. This is the broadcast’s best streak in over 18 years (since October 15, 2000). Compared to last year, MTP increased its lead over ABC by two percent (+3,000) and CBS by +80 percent (80,000). Compared to last week, MTP was up six percent (+48,000), marking a nine-week high in demo viewership (since September 9, 2018).
Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best total viewer lead over ABC in seven seasons (since 2011-12).
MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers for more than three straight years (since March 22, 2015).
An additional 1.318 million total viewers and 429,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
