Watch 26th Season Preview of “Dateline”
September 27, 2017 – NBC’s longest-running primetime series, Dateline, begins its 26th season on Friday, September 29 with a two-hour premiere at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT, the first of 14 two-hour broadcasts scheduled for the season. The two-hour episodes of Dateline will air every Friday throughout the duration of the 2017 year, ending December 29. Watch a preview of the 26th season here.
In Friday’s season premiere, “Scorned,” Keith Morrison reports on a love triangle that led to years of stalking, destruction of property, threats and, murder. Watch a preview here.
Due to NBC’s primetime schedule, Dateline’s weekend encore of “Frantic,” a report by Josh Mankiewicz, will air at different start times and dates this weekend, according to time zones:
- Eastern: airs at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday
- Central: airs at 8 p.m. CT on Saturday
- Pacific: airs at 10 p.m. PT on Sunday
- Mountain: Will be preempted this weekend
The series is the #1 most-watched Friday newsmagazine, winning the 2016-2017 season across the board.
