Continues as #1 Sunday Show Across the Board Season to Date
Wins in Total Viewers for Eight of Past Nine Weeks
Wins in Key Demo for 10th Consecutive Week
MARCH 21, 2017 – “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show on Sunday, March 19, 2017, marking its third straight week as #1 across the board.
Delivering 3.621 million total viewers, MTP beat CBS’ “Face the Nation” by six percent (+187,000) and ABC’s “This Week” by +22 percent (+652,000). For eight of the past nine weeks, MTP has won in total viewers.
In the demo most valued by news advertisers, MTP was watched by 1.113 million A25-54 viewers, topping CBS by +18 percent (+171,000) and ABC by +27 percent (+238,000). This marks the 10th consecutive Sunday that MTP was #1 in the key demo.
Season to date, MTP continues as the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board.
In the influential Washington, D.C. market, MTP is one Sunday away from winning every Sunday for the past two years (since March 22, 2015). The network broadcast continues to outperform the competition in both total viewers and the key demo.
An additional 1.754 million total viewers and 470,000 key demo viewers watched the program through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.
