NEW YORK – February 17, 2017 — In an exclusive first interview, former President George W. Bush will sit down with Matt Lauer live, in-studio on NBC News’ TODAY. President Bush will unveil his new project, “Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors,” a book and special exhibit at The Bush Center featuring his oil paintings and stories of 98 military service members. Bush will be joined in studio by four wounded warriors featured in the book. The interview will air in three parts Monday, February 27 on TODAY including a Facebook Live portion. Each day leading up to the interview, TODAY.com will feature a video highlighting a wounded warrior from Bush’s book.
